Every day make sure someone in the world is better off because of something you’ve done.
Stephanie decided to become a lawyer because she enjoys helping people. Everyone faces problems at some point in time and she wanted to be able to support and guide people through it. Whether she’s helping them through their divorce or registering their new invention, Stephanie’s clients now thank her for making the legal process as painless as possible.
Variety is the spice of life and it provides Stephanie with the opportunity to learn new skills. That’s why she enjoys working at Taylor Splatt & Partners. She helps clients with a wide variety of issues including family law, drafting wills, setting up a legacy for future generations, reviewing loan documents, drafting commercial agreements, resolving neighbour disputes and trademark registrations.
With kindness and compassion, Stephanie supports people dealing with emotional issues like separation, child support, family violence and property settlements. At times like these, she understands that empathy, compassion and communication is just as important as getting the legal documents right. With a background in linguistics, she also understands how important communication is and takes the time to explain the legal process to her clients in plain English.
On the weekend, Stephanie can be found at a theatre enjoying the latest musical – her current recommendation is Hamilton. She also plays the bagpipes with the City of Melbourne Highland Pipe Band and her pipes have been heard in AFL Grand Final Parades, ANZAC Day events and competitions around the state.
