Experience and understanding.

Nick Roberts has been practising law for over 50 years and has the skills and knowledge that comes only with experience. There isn’t much that he hasn’t seen and he brings both his depth of knowledge in the law and understanding of what his clients need to everything he does.

Over the years Nick has worked in general practice, represented clients in court and been an accredited mediator. But now he focuses on helping clients who require specialist expertise in the complex areas of trust, superannuation and probate law.

He advises families and businesses on the best way to set up their trust and superannuation funds, and prepares all the documentation relating to them to ensure they stand the test of time. Nick also assists organisations who trade in these assets and those who require complicated structures.

Not one to back away from a challenge, Nick’s tenacity is valued by clients who are trying to unwind complex estates or dealing with emotional family disputes over wills. While he doesn’t often lose, it’s in those moments where he’s learnt the most and is able to apply that knowledge to the benefit of other clients.

His collegial approach is valued by both colleagues and clients alike. You always know where you stand with Nick, he takes the time to listen carefully and give everything he’s got to get the right outcome.

Nick is also well known in the Mornington Peninsula area thanks to his service as a volunteer firefighter and involvement with organisations as diverse as the Bays Hospital and Mt Martha Community Bank. A proud Rotarian, Nick was awarded the Order of Australian in 2020 for his service to the community. While he doesn’t have much spare time, when he finds it he can be found on the golf course working on his handicap.
